Title: Compatibility with Onboard Charger and Lithium Battery
Post by: proskeeterman@comcast.net on October 08, 2026, 12:00:34 PM
I am in process of swapping out 3 12V Batteries for one 36V lithium. For that issue, it will have it's own priority charger. I also will be installing one 12V lithium battery strictly to run my 2 Solix graphs and a 360 unit. As of now I have an older model Minn Kota 460PC onboard 15amp per bank charger that charges ALL batteries. I have tried to research info on this with mixed results. The main question I have is this, will the current onboard charger be able to charge the starting (AGM lead acid) and also the new 12V lithium for the graphs? Looking for info and opinions on this and thank you for your responses.

It might be a good idea to call Minn Kota service just to be sure  ...
