Hey All,
New to the forum and this is my first post. I have a Solix 10 MSI+ G3 and AutoChart PC. I'd like to take a path that I created in Google Earth and have it show up as a track line on the Solix.
So far I've
-saved it as a .kml and then, using GPS Visualizer, converted it to a .gpx and imported it into AutoChart PC. Doing that it only showed up as waypoints from each corner.
-downloaded and installed GPS Babel, and converted the .kml to a Humminbird .ht file. When importing it into AutoChart PC it still only shows up as waypoints, no lines.
-moved the .ht file to the microSD card and tried bringing it into the Solix directly. Doing that, the importing hung, never completed and, after about 15 minutes I canceled it.
I watched a YouTube video of a guy doing it using GPS Babel for the conversion from .kml to .ht and it worked great. He was using a different Humminbird software though.
Any suggestions?

Thanks, Rickie. I might repost there just as information but I actually figured it out. After yet another call to Humminbird Tech Support, they told me of a feature in the Import/Convert option from the File menu. If you hold down the Ctrl key while selecting Import/Convert, another popup window appears that allows you to import a polyline. Using that, it worked great and the tracks are now on the Solix. Unfortunate that this information isn't included in the AutoChart manual. Could have saved 3-4 hours of time for what is now less than a 1 minute process.
