Title: Helix 8 No Side images in 150ft of water?? What am i doing wrong now. ;P HELP

Hi all, recently upgraded to Helix 8 after i bricked my 997c si combo unit.

My Issue is i cannot get the unit to show me Side images in 154ft of salt water.  I am currently set to shallow salt water.  I tried with si range to 160ft but still got nothing?

Could somebody please help with the correct setting i need to use. 
Its salt water and i want to get images of a wreck i am often out at.  I can see it on the 2d screen but not SI-  Not sure if the DI shows it up either but hardly use the DI i want only the SI images.

Thank you if any body could help me out with this issue.

154ft of water might be challenging for SI  ... simply because the higher frequencies used in SI attenuate (absorb) into water exponentially as water depth increases  ...

You might try turning “Contour Mode” on under the SI Enhance Menu to remove the water column (with SI displayed —> press Menu 1 time / then SI Enhance / then Contour Mode On)  ... 

Also try lower SI frequencies (lower frequencies travel farther thru water than higher frequencies - but with less detail)  ...

Note: easily change frequencies by pressing the check Mark button to cycle thru the available frequencies  ...
