Title: Forum screen background
Post by: h8go4s on April 04, 2010, 09:30:22 PM
I hate to whine in only my second post on this site, but here goes:

1. The black background with white/gray letters can be hard for me to read. I normally use the Firefox browser, so I switched colors on that, but the verification text to allow posting doesn't display. I tried the "Listen to the letters" option, entered the letters as spoken, and got an error message. Is the form not compatible with Firefox?

2. In Internet Explorer, with the black/white color scheme, I still have a very difficult time figuring out the verification text and have to use the "Listen" option. I haven't tried changing colors in the IE browser.

I asked the same question of Robert recently and he quickly replied:
"Its under your Profile -> Look and Layout

There is a blue theme.  I will be updating the text color soon to white.  The Grey is hard to read on some monitors.
Robert"
I changed to a white background and it works great.  I like the black background, too, but it's a little hard to read, as you said.  The white text will make a huge difference, I think.
