Post by: inshorecatch on February 21, 2016, 09:05:09 AM
Which would you chose and why. New charter boat going on line this month. I fish alot of 12" to 200 ' of water, and the size of these are fine. I want to know which is gonna map the best for me while giving me that great side imaging and deep depth detail. Thanks for yalls feedback.

Either the helix 12 onix or ion 10. Looking for si and di. Not interested in 360. Touch screen is not necessary

If you are going to be fishing as deep as 200', I would wait a little longer while info on the Helix 12 rolls out to find more detail about the chirp ..... It can do chirp with the standard transducer...or add on transducer for better chirp.

The transducer details for the add on chirp transducers is not matured yet.

If you frequent BBC boards, there are some images starting to show up over there.
