Topic: Warranty on 898cSI unit

How long is the warranty on these units and what will it cover and not cover? Is there an expanded warranty program available? May be it's me can not seem to get a straight answer .

I see you are in the U.S. so this standard warranty should apply:

How long the warranty is for depends on how or who you bought it from as I’ve heard some boat dealers have a warranty period that is longer than the 1-year warranty we offer but this is handled through the boat dealer.  We have in the past sent literature about extended warranties, through other companies, out with our units but I don’t know if we still do that or not.  If we do it will be in the box with the unit.
