I am not sure if I need the two units to work together or just need a unit like a 788ci to hook up to the US2?  I would love to add a 1198 to the front of the boat, but that is not in the cards. I can buy a used 788ci for $350?  Would that be fine or will it no be that great with the 998 at the wheel?  What do you think?

I have a 798at helm, and a 788 with s terrova 101 US2 at the bow. I want to up grade but  I am planing on getting new boat new year. I will go with a 1100 on helm, 900 at bow. Lookin at a g3 boat or express. I like my 788 at the helm and it works just great. I do have some interference.  I would like to have dual card slots up front. Its a pain swapping out cards.
