What menu option do I need to use to link my 1198 and my 898 together, so that my 898 sees the 1198. I have the patch cord installed but cant figure out what option I need to use

It is.  Basically it’s a magnet in the shape of a large ring.  It should come with installation instructions.  The Ethernet operations manual can be downloaded from this site here:
