Topic: Fish Icon

Thanks for adding me to your forum. I recently upgraded from a 300TX to a Helix 5 SI/GPS so I hope I'm not jumping into too deep of water. I guess it's because I'm old school but I like the fish icons. When I put my unit in simulator mode it shows the fish icon in DI and the water column in SI but when I take it to the lake I'm not getting the fish icon in SI or DI. If I do a side by side with traditional the icon shows on the traditional side but not the DI side. I didn't think it was a setting because it should show the same for simulator as in the water I thought. Any input or suggestions are much appreciated. I'm sure this is probably going to be the first of many questions so thanks in advance.

It's interesting you are seeing th Fish ID icon in Simulator on the DI view and the SI view ...

I didn't know this was possible on any HB unit ...

I will have to see what I can dig up ...

Hopefully someone with a HELIX can verify and help here ...

When I turn Fish ID on this is what I get but when I click it off they immediately disappear. ?? Got me bumfuzzled.
