Topic: what was your deciding factor in choising humminbird

In a few words what was your deciding factor in choosing humminbird  over other brands I've used Lowrance all my life but I'm now  the proud owner of a hummingbird my factor was lakemasters ,interested to hear yours ,tight lines

Lowrance was sold to another company and the units were not as good as the old original company. Service was almost non-existent. fortunately they fixed their problems so they are in direct competition with Hb now. I do like their LSS transducers over the pucks that HB uses and the nice thing is you can put an LSS on an HB unit to help its display. So between the two their low range pricing does a pretty good job.
