can I use this transducer?

Hi all, I'm wanting to use the flasher on my 798c si and I have an old ducer model#XNT-9-20-T from a pmax 160 it fits but will it run the flasher mode. thanks in advance

Yes it will.

The standard Compact Side Imaging (CSi) transducer that comes with the 798c Si unit has the same DualBeam elements inside of the transducer.  So the XNT-9-20-T transducer from your PMax will work the same as the 2D part of the CSi transducer.
