Title: 360 Imaging
Post by: 1fisherofmen on December 14, 2016, 09:44:31 PM
I have a 998c SI combo W/ GPS. I recently picked up a 360 imaging unit. This 360 comes with a GPS receiver/heading sensor as did the 998. Do I really need both GPS receivers mounted in my boat?

If you only have the 1 unit ..... just use the HS GPS.

thanks Bob, and sorry for the late response! I'll be hooking things up some time this spring. Thanks again. I have another concern, my 998 has only 1 Ethernet port and I have a terrova connected to it. I've seen hummingbird has an e-switch but I don't know about these things. Will I be able to see both the terrova and the 360 on my control head through this switch?

Yes all devices can talk to each other with the switch......You connect the Ethernet cable from all your devices to it....If you have more devices than 1 switch can handle .... you can add more.
