Have tried to install the latest version of Humminbird PC but the file which I downloaded directly from Humminbird install a program called DriverTuner.. Have tried several times and several different versions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You certainly don't have the right file then - "DriverTuner" is not required and may be malware??
HumminbirdPC (Version 4.3.8) is the most recent.
I have used it on Windows XP and Windows 7 (64 bit) - I have not tried it on Windows8/81.
This link may or may not work for you....

Downloaded the software from the link you provided and the same thing happened. I think perhaps I have a virus on my computer that forces the install of the wrong software. Thanks

HBPC Installation has a long time bug.
Installation can fail if another SETUP.EXE is in the same folder. That is sometimes why another installation procedure will start...
Make sure the HBPC installation program is in a folder by itself.

Never had that problem LG...
There is quite a bit about "DriverTuner" being possible malware - so unless the OP chimes in with that saying there's another EXE in the same folder - I am betting on an infection.........

Could be an infection or download add-on from third-party hosting site(but not when directly downloaded from HB).
Problem I stated is doc'ed here:
