Title: 360 is HOT!
Post by: Cannibul on March 20, 2016, 06:31:33 PM
I've been having some problems with my boat.

Went out yesterday and rewired a few things which fixed everything but the 360.

Went out today and tried to get the 360 up.  With ONLY the 360 on the circuit it blows a 10 amp fuse RFN.

Put in a 10 amp delay fuse and it blew pretty quick too.  However I did note that the shaft of the 360 was HOT before the fuse blew.

At no point was the 360 recognized by the Onix nor could I deploy the motor.

Anyone had a similar experience?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

This is definitely not a common problem .... better give HB a call.  I don't know what happens to the 360 if the power polarity is accidentally reversed.

It's worked in the past.  Quit working, then started blowing the fuse later on.

If it's hot and blowing fuses it is toast ..... Hope it is still in warranty
