Firmware for 798si ??

Hello,

It has been a while.  I am looking to update the firmware for my 798cx (798c SI), it is an international model.
This is NOT a 798 HD.

Will I be able to install a version of software newer than 6.35?
The reason I am asking is that I want to install an external GPS with a heading sensor.

My 1197 only has 6.300 and recognizes the AS GPS HS antenna  ...

Have you tried your 798c to see if it will recognize the AS GPS HS antenna  ... ??

The AS GPS version works.  I think I may have to forgo trying the one with the heading sensor for now.
