Can someone give me the difference/s between a Helix/Solix G2 unit and a G3 unit? Is it only the
wattage output from 4,000 to 8,000 watts? Also is there a way to upgrade a G2 unit and make it a G3?
Thank you.

HELIX current is G3N ...
SOLIX current is G2 ...
That’s simply because HELIX has been available longer in 3 generations ...
——
HELIX G3N adds (over HELIX G2N) ...
*Dual Spectrum Low Q CHIRP 2d
*MEGA+ DI/SI imaging with more range and detail from HELIX G2N MEGA imaging
SOLIX G2 adds (over SOLIX G1) ...
*Dual Spectrum Low Q CHIRP 2d
*MEGA+ DI/SI imaging with more range and detail from SOLIX G1 imaging ...
The Wattage output difference is entailed in the “+” part of MEGA+ more range ...

It is not possible to “upgrade” a unit from an older generation into a newer generation ...

Rickie,
Thanks for the expanded explanation. I find it harder now to keep up with all the different units. And, I've given up on trying to understand the price jump from 10" to 12" units.
When you get in this price range, I'd like to get it right the first time.
