Post by: anvil on July 19, 2014, 11:39:52 AM
planning on buying a 999 si. want to be able to use it on the bridge or down below depending on the weather. Know I will need 2 power cables. Is there a trasducer cable splitter that I can go to both locations?

The US3 switch allows 2 head units (or 2 unit stations)...to be hooked to 1 xducer...

You will probably want a second gimbal bracket also...

And you may want a second cable collector...(I could not find this on the HB website)...

Make sure that is the correct Connector Collector when you order it Roy.  It needs to be Humminbird part# 540232-1 for the "HD" 800 and 900 series units.  You may have to get this direct from Humminbird.

I removed my link to the Collector cable at Amazon because it was the wrong one and I didn't want Anvil buying the wrong one...

Thanks Greg...for inputting the correct part number of the cable collector...

Just an update on the collector for the internal GPS 800 and 900 units. It is now available as an accessory under part #MBCC-900Ci (740144-1)   http://www.humminbird.com/Products/MBCC-900ci/ (http://www.humminbird.com/Products/MBCC-900ci/)
