ALL SI Models
Suggested Upgrade:
SI transducer adjustable for boats stored in the water
Explanation:
Boats that are too big for trailers need to lift the boat on a lift or hire a diver to make transducer adjustments. Future TD mount designs should take into consideration that loosening the mounting screws to make adjustments can cause water to leak into the transom core materials and lead to damage. Ideally one piece should be mounted and sealed to the hull. All adjustments should be made without disturbing the sealed screws.

It's why people screw a big piece of UHMW (plastic) to their transom( like 1/2"thick), and then screw the transducer into the UHMW backing.
