Rats! AutoChart BLACK?
« on: August 18, 2015, 04:44:12 PM »
I've imported a ton of stuff into AutoChart, renamed my folders on my Zero Line card, exported the new LakeMaster data to my Zero Lines card, and when I put it into my 385ci, the display goes BLACK.  I can kind of see dark blue text on the black, but it's totally unusable.

Does anybody have a solution for this?

Thanks,
Bob

Rebuild your map again and try that.

make sure to delete your custom lake folder when you re-map with authochart

export back to your SD card

change your Chart menu from your unit to handle the custom new map and overlay option

Why did you rename folders on your ZeroLines SD card?  That is probably the culprit.  They need to remain the original folder names (LkMaster and AC).

as per the manual, you can have multiple lakes under as many AC folder you like too but only one folder at a time can be use the default one

When i screw up my map during editing, i do this.

remove all index file list
delete from my zero line card the sub folder under AC

I normally work on local copy when doing my maps to prevent using too much or corrupt my zero line card.

rebuild your map back again, and copy paste the new AC folder on your computer to your zero line card AC folder

so far i had no issues for last two seasons
