Title: Solix white and black screen

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting an issue here my solix 12 started messing up earlier today and I could never get it to work I connect the power and all it shows is a mostly white screen with some black towards the buttons I have no idea what to do and have been searching the Forum and internet for any similar issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... I am trying to figure out how to put up some pictures

Some SOLIX issues (very power hungry animals) can be attributed to low power (low/bad battery)  or insufficient amperage (too small of wires)  ...

**Troubleshooting can be ...:

*Load testing the battery to determine battery health  ...
*Verifying wiring (at least 10gauge) direct from battery to SOLIX  ...

And of course Restore Defaults is an easy 1st troubleshooting step  ...

Thank you very much rnvinc ;D.... I will give these a shot it started working again but then it started doing the same thing when I was on the water :-[.... I will definitely keep you informed in case someone else has the same problem ;D ;D

Did you verify a healthy battery and large enough wire to supply adequate amperage  ...??

Rickie I have not...but it's in the works for the week..but just to get the right, I am adding a thicker wire to the end of my humminbird power cord thin wire?

Correct .. the HB power cable is adequate for the “end of the run” (even tho I cut it down to about 2ft)  ...

I use 10guage marine tinned multistrand  ...
