Title: Keel offset
Post by: Meena on April 02, 2014, 05:55:53 PM
This is probably obvious but how can I adjust the difference in the depth of my transducer with the actual water surface?

The "Depth Offset" menu is in the Main tabbed menu system under the Setup tab...

Press Menu twice to get into the Main tabbed menu...
Cursor over to the Setup tab...
Cursor down to "Depth offset"...
Cursor a positive number to read a depth from the waterline...
Cursor a negative number to read a depth from the keel...

FYI: In some of the really old units (Matrix) that menu used to be called “Keel Offset”.

Ok I went to this screen but depth offset is not on option. This is a new 798ci HD also.

edit--- Never mind I had the sonar turned off.

Make sure you user mode is "advanced" or you can't see that option.
