Helix g3n with SILR cable question

When running left and right humminbird helix XM 9 hw MSI transducers, do they have to be the same distance on either side of the boat? One side would be further up the bottom of the hull. I have lives well inlets an a kicker blocking obstructions. One side will be over 18in port is 25in approximately.

That little of difference is not going to make a difference in what you see in the images  ...
