Title: SpotScan vs. 360 Imaging
Post by: Brunswick on January 24, 2015, 06:50:36 PM
I've just made the transition from an 1198 to the ONIX, and I purchased a transom 360 unit as well.

Was curious if anyone had an opportunity to see Spotscan from Lowrance and how it compares to HB's 360. Everyone enjoys fishing with buddies with their electronics and noting differences and similarties . Was curious how these two can stack up.

I've always been a 'bird fan, but truth be known I envied Lowrances' DI until this new ONIX transducer. How's 360 compare?

I hate to get involved in these type of comparison threads, but I haven't seen anyone who will defend the performance of the spotlight ........It is not in the same league with the 360.

I agree 100%, I know someone that is looking to get rid of a spotlight!!  Not me, but a friend, says he wouldn't have purchased SL if he had known how it works.

I have not fished in a boat with a Lowrance SL, but from what I read and understand about how it works I have to agree with the above comments.
