Hello all,
I'm fresh back from doing an urgent estuary mapping job, which I ought to describe elsewhere on the forum.
I have a 798ciHD unit with an SD card, I recorded 14 runs, and I'm trying get get screen shots of a couple of features, in playback. The first time I tried this, I got one image, but only after the unit hung and became unresponsive to any key press, including power off. I had to disconnect the power supply to restart.
Since then, any time I press the mark button, the unit locks up completely.
I have restored the unit to default settings, and from there selected the screengrab option. Same behaviour.
<edit> Tried reformatting the SD card, and dropping the record folder back on. Any button press in the full screen side imaging replay will lock the unit.
Any tips as to why this might be happening?
<edit2> I updated the firmware to the current version and all works as advertised.

Dale you could describe the event in the Articles and Tutorials section. Select the forum button at the top and then Articles and Tutorials. Then create a new topic.
Great that the update fixed your unit..
