Does anyone have a good source for cat 6 in the US.

Home Depot sells it in already made cables with RJ45 connectors or in bulk rolls.

May want to check Tiger Direct as well.  I’m sure many on-line computer parts retailers sell Cat 6 cable.

Thanks after you mentioned Home depot it dawned on me this
is just standard categorie 6 cable. I am not a sparky by any sence of the
word but should have known this.

Almost any electronic outlet today has cat6 cable.  It is a very common cable..

Don’t feel bad Dean.  I never would have guessed that Home Depot would carry any computer related equipment!

Just be sure that what you're using is "stranded core" and not "solid core" wire.  Stranded core is more flexible, solid core is designed for permanent installation and the strands will break if you flex them too often.  Stranded wire cable is often referred to as "patch" cable.
