Hey, just wondering what the last stable software update was??? Been reading about problems with 6.7**... I haven't Upgraded my software in over a year now, and need to!!!

Hi Patty, I'm new on this forum, but I have v-6.740 installed on my 898 and haven't discovered any issue with mine yet, works fantastic! Had it out all day today and was messin with that more than I fished. Its my first SI model, so I am still fine tuning and learning all the features. I would say go for it, unless there are specific features you have read being affected by the v-6.740 that you may have. Just one mans opinion...

If you don't have the I-pilot link, 360, or heading sensor GPS........The best release for the 898 would be 6.490.
If you have one of those.....get the latest available.
