Topic: Matrix 97 GPS and Weathersense update

I didn't see my previous post in this category, so here is the end of trying to get the GPS and Weathersense to work on my Matrix 97. I added a wire with battery voltage to the red wire (pin 1) on the Y cable near the NMEA plug (to keep the junction below the deck), hooked it up and everything works great. 

There is no voltage output from the pin #1 on the M97. I was given this unit a few years ago and the sonar etc works fine but somewhere along its life, the output transistor failed. Thanks again Wayne and Greg for your thoughts and help! This forum is the best!! I am a happy camper!
