I have a 898 with the Navionics Platinum installed. Software version 5.7. My problem is not being able to see the 3D screen. Can someone tell me if there are setting that need changed for this screen. All else works fine.

To be honest, i'm not even sure if your platinum map does include a 3d view. My platinum map shows detailed depth informations and sattelite pictures which you can overlay on the landscape or even the water. But no 3d view. I think its only the lakemaster maps having something like that ?

It can if there is the 3D information for the lake he is looking at.  Try looking in the Platinum Cartography manual for the correct menu settings, zoom levels, etc.
