Topic: 1197 on NMEA 2000

Hi!

Has anyone ever succesfully put a 1197 on NMEA 2000 ?
As far as i know this connection can be made via a blackbox adapter.
Should everything go as it is specified in technical documentation or could any difficulty occur?
I'd rather know this before i spend around $170 in the NMEA 2000 to ethernet interface.
