Networking with new Helix units

Has anyone done this? I assuming that our older units will network and be a seamless operation.

The HELIX 9, 10, and 12 will network with core units ... (HELIX 5 and 7 are standalone) ...

I looked at the new Helix 9 today and it is a huge chunk of plastic. There is enough frame work there to have a 12 in screen fitted in it. Also had the look and feel of something very cheap. Do not get me wrong I love my 898 but just do not feel it with the new units. I think I will catch the 1198 on sale and go with that.

I think the HELIX 9 is a 9" screen in the HELIX 10 cabinet ...

Same as the 899 is a 8" screen in the 999 cabinet ...

I'm sure it's cost saving factor in manufacturering to have 1 less cabinet size in parts inventory ...

I did notice on the 1 HELIX 10 I installed for my cousin that the screen is no longer inset into the cabinet ...but more set forward to the edge ... Looking more like a flat panel display instead of a module display ...
