Best mounting solution for 998 on inflatable PVC boat

Hi everyone
Could you please recommend the best solution for the set-up enclosed.
Wonder if the best solution is RAM-D-111U (long) or RAM-D-111U-C (short)? Or swivel mount is better? Or no mount is needed at all and it is better to go just with a standard mounting plate?
