AS SILR Y cable question
« on: April 21, 2012, 11:45:24 AM »
Im going to use two SI transducers and connect them with the AS SILR Y cable b/c I have been having problems getting left sided SI inference due to hull shape.

My question is, will I still be able to use DI and which transducer will be used for DI and 2d sonar. Thanks

Yes you will.

The Di sonar information will come from each transducer: the left Si sonar from the Port side Si transducer will be added to the right Si sonar from the Starboard side Si transducer.

2D sonar will still come from only the Starboard side Si transducer.

Are you saying that 2d comes from the 455/800 element?
Does HB have a good write up on elements and transducers?
