Just started using a helix my father purchased a couple years ago.  He bought the sd card with the local area lakes on it and when the gps has the unit over a dark blue section of the lake the depth finder disappears although it is only in like 30-40 feet of water.  When it does this the bottom disappears from the sonar and the fish finder. Does anyone know how to fix this??

It sounds like the “Lower Depth” setting may be in manual  ...

Restore Defaults under the Setup tab to put the unit back to a factory defaults  ...

Restore Defaults will not affect the waypoint library  ...
