Topic: Helix 10 set up question

I’m sitting at home during this Covid virus watching every video on helix 10’s; trying to learn as much as I can.
Do I need my transducer hooked up to see my screen VIEWS in NORMAL mode? I can only see my visible VIEWS in SIMULATION mode.  I only selected 9 VIEWS; but none of the sonar views show up in NORMAL mode.

I tried to change my lat & long format under the SETUP tab. I wasn’t able to find that option.  It appears some of the menu is missing.

I also tried to familiarize myself with boat offset, but it wasn’t showing under the proper tab.

I assume a lot of the fine tuning has to be done all hooked up and on the boat?

It is possible to make settings selections with the unit in Normal (with a xducer connected)  ... If no xducer is connected the unit will not give Sonar screens and the Sonar tab in the Menu system  will not be available ...

Set the User mode under the Setup tab to Custom (Advanced in older software) to see all Menu selections available  ...

Position Format and Depth Offset are also under the setup tab  ...
