Topic: Triing to figure it out (help please)

Hi all

I have the new mega8 g3. Wanting to run a Yamaha interface cable from F115 to the bird. Thought all I needed was (first mistake) Lowrance starter kit, Yamaha cable, and adaptor cable. The adaptor cable I bought (second mistake) doesn't marry with the starter kit. What cable do I need? Can I splice connecting ends? Did I waste my time and money hooking up the Lowrance backbone starter kit. What do I need?

I'm pretty sure you're going to need the NMEA gateway
