Just a reminder for hunters an fisherman after you put your boat in stop the trailer tires on the edge of the water and let excessive
water run off just takes one minute and the next guy will appreciate the dry ice free ramp .Happy Holidays Gary

Gary, that is an excellent suggestion. I am going to add that into our boating safety course.. :D
I will probably suggest that the state ramps add that statement to their sign at the ramp..
Have a safe holiday and take care.

Chuck I have always done this for fellowship I know it has helped people from falling in or on the ramps.
I had a older fellow yesterday fall in the water at the ramp early AM .I got him out before he froze. Water temp up here
was 38 degrees yesterday a friend called a ambulance for him he is going to be all right. Gary

It was good that you were there.
And thanks for sharing this with the forum.
Such an innoculous thing as letting water drip before pulling away is so overlooked.
I am carrying your suggestion forward as we type.
We have boating courses here (as do most) but no where can I find your suggestion.
That is such a great idea. And one that will not only provide a safer exit on the ramp but will and can save a life.
Great work Gary...
