Title: HBPC problem

I have downloaded hbpc but when I try to open it I get "humminbirdpc exe has encounted a problem and needs to close" has any body had this or got any idea what the problem is? help please. Spanna

Are you trying to run this file or open it with some application?

Don’t know.  Maybe some of the computer gurus on here can help out.
Try uninstalling HumminbirdPC and download it again and install from the new download file.

First of all, which operating system are you using (Vista, 7, 8, etc.).
I'm sure there are some version that may not be compatible. 

I would first re-downloading the install file and then re-installing.
You could also try to download an older version of the software too to see if anything different happens. 

I've run across some problems with exe files that require you to right click it and select 'Run as Administrator' rather than just double clicking.  Could try that as well.

Hi 4d-rock thanks for the help I am running XP v5.1 s/3. I have just downloaded an older version of HBPC v3.0.26 and it opens Ok so thats a start maybe that will have to do. Do you or any body know what the differance is or any other suggestions? thanks again ,spanna

 ;D problem solved changed anti virus thanks again for the advice .All I have to do now is lean how to use it.
