Title: New to AutoChart

Recently purchased AutoChart Pro and have a Solix 15s with a second one on the way which will be Ethernet connected.  I would appreciate your help in better understanding AutoChart Pro. The more I watch youtube the more the more questions I have.  I would like to fish while mapping Lake Eufaula.  Thinking the trolling motor could be used while connected to the transom mounted transducer to stabilize the trolling motor as it turns a lot.
 
Any thoughts?
