Temp sensor quiestion
« on: April 02, 2014, 03:35:20 PM »
I am going to glass a puck in the hull of my Ranger 619. I purchased the XP 9 20 T, I didn't need the temp because the transducer that comes with the 998 has it. I opened it before I noticed this. I have the AS SIDB Y cable. My question is will the temp be read from the transom mount side imaging transducer or the puck glassed in the hull? I think it will be the one on the transom

With the AS-Si-DB-Y cable the temperature will come from the transom mounted Side Imaging transducer.  The temperature sensor in the XP-9-20-T does not get electrically connected to your unit.
