I see how people post a picture of a screen snap shot with a circle drawn around the object they are pointing out - like a school of fish with a circle around it and an arrow stating fish.
How are you drawing the circle? Looks like it's hand drawn. Are you printing the snap shot then drawing on it, then making a pdf file or something?

I usually make a snapshot from HummViewer or save the snapshot from the unit on my PC.
Then I open the snapshot I want in Windows Paint and use the tools square or ellipse to highlight the part of the picture which I find interesting. After that I save the picture as a copy of the original.
Pretty simple, but it works.

I use Adobe Photoshop. Like Harry said, any image or picture editor should work.

If you use Paint...then file the picture as a JPEG. smaller in file size and easier to use in other programs. the Paint .BMP is a bit awkward...

Depending on what I want to do to/with the screen snapshot; I will use either Paint or PowerPoint and save it as a jpeg, bmp, png or pdf file.
