Dual beam or Quad Beam
« on: November 27, 2011, 07:00:55 PM »
Hi, i have a 788ci witch needs a new transducer. I would like  to get a bit of advice on weather it is worth going for the Quad Beam or If the Dual beam is just as good. I have had it for 3 years now and this is its 3rd transducer. Is that normal or should the transducers last longer than that?

I have a Quadra beam on my TM but use mostly the dual beam part of it.  If you get a Quadra Beam you will have a choice of using 83 and/or 200 khz or Quadra Beam on your unit.

Maybe getting the quadra beam is your best choice it gives you the 4 choices (4th being the combined 83/200 khz choice)
