When I upload wps, routes, and tracks from pc to sd card for a lake and download them into my 899 the saved track style and colors return yo the original style (breadcrumb and black) instead of the style I gave them (solid lines and colors). Any suggestions?

Thanks Greg for reply. This is something that should be upgraded. To download a lake and then have to go thru your saved tracks and change everything back the way you had them is a very inconvenience to say the least. Please talk to the powers to be about this.

This problem has been around for years. And Lowrance USRv4/USRv5 support export/import of track characteristics.
So nudge, nudge Humminbird. . .
Track characteristics and Saved Track Defaults are lost after a System Reset also.
Here's a work-around.
You can set the Saved Tracks Default characteristics. Then any new track loaded will have those characteristics.
This will at least set the Bold-Line characteristics and one color. Then you have to edit the other colors. For years I had Tracks of Creeks(blue), roadbeds(black), boatruns(green) and boatpaths(red). At one time for a lake I had ~45 tracks. It was a PITA.
And everytime I HAD TO DO a System Reset, then all track characteristics were lost.
HB and Lowrance units support tracks with track-segments. Track-segments are individual tracks within a track. This allowed me to merge all my creek-tracks into 1 creek-track, roadbed-tracks into 1 roadbed-track, etc. Instead of ~45 tracks, I have only 3 tracks to edit(Saved Tracks Default setup done prior to reloading).
Reefmaster can merge them, save them in HB .HT format, then you can load on your unit. You can download these .HT files into HumminbirdPC also.
