I’m new to this board and have a question...can you network a helix 10 si chirp mega with a helix 7 DI chirp unit with “only an Ethernet cable and adapters” or do you need the junction box as well? Thx.  Ron

HELIX 7 G2N models can be networked without the AS ETH 5XPG if there are only the 2 devices (head units or Ethernet accessories)  in the network  ... Any other Ethernet device counts as 3 devices which then needs the AS ETH 5XPG  ...

Any HELIX 7 that is not G2N cannot be networked with any connection  ...

Thanks for the reply...does it matter that one is SI (10”) fpvcwgand the other (7”) is DI

As long as the HELIX 7 is a G2N model - it can network  ...
