Topic: Recording and screen snapshot dont work

Screen snapshot is on , and when i hit the MARK button while in SI mode it saves the waypoint but also says "no mmc/sd card found", so it wont save that screen image. I got it to save an image one time with the same SD card but not anymore, and i deleted that image so there is nothing on the SD card in the unit. i have the HB lakemaster chip and an SD card in the slots. and when i go click on start recording, it says "error recording stopped". what am i doing wrong?

Probably nothing you are doing wrong.  It sounds like the sd card could be bad or maybe you will need to reformat the sd card.  Try reformatting first.  If that does not do it then try a new card...
Usually the SanDisk cards are great but sometimes will get corrupted.  So format first..
Also switch the card positions in the slots.  It should not make a difference which is where .........but once in a while  it gets confused...

Put the card in your computer, I am thinking you have one... in the sd/mmc slot......click on my computer and select the sd card....right click on the card and select format option...
In a nutshell that is how you can do it...

99% sure...it is your S D Card.  I just went through the same thing with my brand new 1198.  I tried a different card and it works.  I went to Wal-Mart and Purchased a Sandisk Ultra 4 GB.  Works well and very fast so far.
