i want to flush mount my 798 ci SI in the dash .will it be ok if i get the gps puck? the flush mount kit says not recomended for internal gps units .also is the xp 9 20 the right thru hull transducer to use,i don't see 798 si listed with the xp 9 20 when i went to order it

It should be fine flush mounted with the external GPS receiver.  Its not recommended if you are using the Internal receiver since it may interfere with the signal acquisition.

The xp-9-20 will work fine.
