Title: Exporting Waypoints
Post by: fishermanatr on October 01, 2014, 03:23:10 PM
Attempted to export waypoints to my SD card (while in the house with only power connected).  Unit will not give an "export waypoints"
option in the NAV menu.

Is this only possible  to do with a GPS antenna connected?

Yes it is only possible to do with the GPS Receiver connected AND the unit is running in the normal operation mode Tad.
… but …  >:D
You can run the unit in the Simulator mode and export the Nav Data (Waypoints, Routes and Tracks).   ;D

Thanks, Greg.  Just a few minutes ago I found the "export" feature under WAYPOINT MANAGEMENT, instead of the NAV menu.

It worked fine with just the power in the Simulator mode!  Sorry for the lame question, and thanks for your help.
