Topic: Upgrade on bow?

Have a 998 on console...Looking to upgrade bow unit....Would like color/gps....not nessarily SI...but would like to be able to link the 2 to share waypoints etc.....Any advice for one at a reasonable price would be appreciated...

The 788ci HD DI unit is a good color 5-inch color display unit.  2D sonar plus the new DI sonar plus GPS capabilities really packs a lot of usable features into one package.  Do you have any questions about it?

Only one question...Have a Lowrance X-125 in dash on bow (about 7 x 5 1/2)....will the 788 fit there also....

Will it fit.  Are you asking with the lowrance or as a replacement?

What kind of boat do you have.

The 788ci HD DI is 6.9"W x 7.5"H x 4.5"D
You may have to do some measuring to make sure that it will fit.

Thanks for your help.... i had lowrance x-125 that i replaced with 597hd/di on triton bass boat the 597 fitts perfect. im not for sure but i think that the 788 is the same size.  good luck.oh by the the way, i really like the 597.no ethernet but i doent need that.
