Title: High Definition 640V x 640H 5" display with LED backlight

When I go look at the my unit product details from Humminbird website. It say this.

"High Definition 640V x 640H 5" display with LED backlight..."

But on the SPECS section it says:

Display:
    5.0" diagonal
    640V x 640H
    256 Color TFT


What is the difference between TFT and LED ? does my 2012 unit is a real LED screen resolution??

Read the product details again… that says; “LED backlight” not LED display.
At one point we changed from a CCFL type backlight to a (brighter) LED type backlit display.

The display resolution is noted as 640 X 640.  The TFT/LED would be the display type (two different things).
