Now version 86 of HumViewer is released. Now for both Windows and MAC !
As always it can be downloaded from: http://humviewer.cm-johansen.dk (http://humviewer.cm-johansen.dk)
Change Log

Version 86 (Release date 10-04-13 08:00)
-First release also working on MAC.
-NEW FEATURE: Possible to send out nmea messages on socket connection (to TCP->Serial bridge).
-Fixed a couple of issues with sub-recordings (exported to wrong tracks, and wrong length)
-
Have anyone downloaded and tried the MAC version. It is my first try ever making anything for MAC, so I would like to know if it works.

Martin,
Thanks for all the excellent work you do! According to my testing, version 86 fixes the sub-recording issue. All is well with the universe ;D
-
Thanks for all your efforts.
I am using Humviewer 81 under Windows 7 64-bit.
Under HV version 81, when saving waypoints to a Directory/Sub-directory, the data was saved to Directory.
I will test under version 86.

THANK YOU for the update, I can now view my .DAT files after updating my 798si to 6.610. As a new Humminbird customer, I find it very hard to believe that you and Humminbird have not cut a deal yet? This software is a huge advantage over the competition and deserves dedicated resources and budget! Rant over, thank you again for creating such an awesome piece of software!
May I please add to the wishlist, with my noted appreciation. :)
- Graphical map data to 2DTrackPlot
- 2DTrackPlot colors correlating to water temperature. (not sure what the current colors mean?)
- Water Temperature added to the left data column.
- More color defaults to match the actual sonar colors. (help to keep on the water experience the same)
Thank you again!

You can show your track of your recording in google earth, and also make it live update your current location when you move in the recording in HV. But you cannot overlay the recording in google earth.

Hi
Regarding the graphical map on 2Dtrackplot, I have decided to make the feature so google earth is continuously updated with current position (try 'Tools'->'Show in google earth', and the select the 'show boat position').
Regarding the two suggestions concerning temperature, the problem is that to my knowledge the temperature is not saved in the recording files. So I cannot show it.
And finally you can make your own color models ('Tools'->'Color model editor'). If you make some good ones, please send them to me and I will make them part of the next release :D

Thank you!!! for including us MAC OS members.
You have provided a very valuable tool for all Humminbird customers.
The additional information learned from reviewing recordings with your program is priceless.

Thanks for the update! I was so disappointed after upgrading my firmware and humviewer no longer working.
