I cannot get no response. I am getting a I. O. RESPONSE WARNING My lap top built in card reader reads the card OK. My home pc don't want to read it . Any idea's from anyone. Thanks Gary

How big and fast is the card? Some readers dont handle the Extreme cards at all. May simply take a high speed card reader to get it to work in your computer.

If the card is a sdhc( bigger than 2 gig) some card readers wont access the card.

Technology is an ever changing world. As fast as products come out the faster they become archaic. Yep, I had to upgrade (replace) my first and second USB MMC card readers. I guess this is the price for we pay for living in the world of computers. but the price is small compared to the advancement for functions. Thanks to a forum like this we have the expertise of folks who can help identify the need to upgrade and get on with the world of sonar scanning. Chuck

I purchased the Sandisk Extreme III 2 GB SD because that's the largest Sandisk made in the "old" SD format...and the card works in my "older" laptop and my "older" desktop...
I can get a LOT of stuff on a 2 GB card...and I just carry more than 1 card at all times....

Most computer readers will work. It is a problem with external USB readers. for example, the lowrance USB reader works well with their products. However the L.E.I. reader is sensitive to card size and type. Chuck
